2008 ISPE STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION

The New Jersey Chapter of ISPE is pleased to announce the 2008 Student Chapter Poster Competition.  Every year, students from the ISPE Student Chapters at Rutgers University, Stevens Institute of Technology and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) prepare posters showcasing their research relevant to the health care and the pharmaceutical industry.  Winners of the local contest from each participating school receive an all-expense paid trip to the ISPE Annual Meeting where they compete against other students from across the nation. Last year six competitors from New Jersey attended the Annual Meeting in Las Vegas and we are pleased to report that Kate Freed of Stevens Institute of Technology was the overall winner in the undergraduate category for her poster titled “Impedance Mammography”.
This year’s event will once again feature presentations on the cutting edge research being performed in our local universities.  Come see the amazing work being done by our students and future leaders in our industry.  The winners of this year’s competition will represent New Jersey at the Annual Meeting of the ISPE in Boca Raton this coming October. 
Event Details:

¨      Registration begins at 4:30 p.m.

¨      Light refreshments will be available.  

¨      The meeting will close at 8:30 p.m.

¨      Please use the Registration Form above to reserve your space.  Registration must be received no later than April 18, 2008

¨   Meeting fees are $25 for members and $50 for non-members (Non-members: if an ISPE membership application is included with payment the price will be discounted to the $25 member rate).  Please use the following link to join: http://www.ispe.org/Join+ISPE

¨      ISPE STUDENT MEMBERS are admitted free of charge and student non-members meeting fee is $10. (Student non-members: if an ISPE membership application is included with payment, admission will be free).
